The re-opening of Linate airport

After a four-month stop due to Covid19, Linate airport reopened on Monday 13rd July. It was closed since 16th March. It was and will be a slow recovery. No flights were scheduled for the two days following the reopening. The first flight took off last Wednesday, July 15th. In the following days some airlines, such as Alitalia, started flying again. the numbers of air traffic and passengers are still very low.
In August, Alitalia will relaunch the international flights. Until the end of July, international flights take off from Malpensa, which was opened during the entire lockdown. (Read the article about Malpensa).
