Certified C6 Equipment maintenance, repair, and refurbishment solutions for fleet cabin interiors
At Testori Aero Supply we provide comprehensive lifecycle management for aircraft cabin interiors. Through our vertical integration and triple approval (DOA, POA and MOA), we manage cabin interior components fully in-house. Consequently, we seamlessly transition from initial design and production to certified maintenance, repair, and final airworthiness release.With our EASA and GCAA approvals, we deliver certified maintenance and refurbishment for cabin interiors. Therefore, we can offer a cost-effective alternative to total replacements.
Our specific repair capabilities focus on:
- Leather covers and textiles: Refurbishment, re-dyeing, and deep cleaning of natural leather backrests and bottoms, headrests, and fabric covers;
- Plastic and small metal parts: Cosmetic repair of seat shrouds, fairings, food tray tables, and small metallic mounting inserts.
Technical repair examples
To illustrate our certified PART 145 procedures, here is a technical breakdown of standard refurbishment processes conducted on actual fleet components by our team.1. Leather covers refurbishment
The issue: Due to high-traffic operational wear, premium natural leather surfaces become glossy and lose their original grain texture. As a result, they often develop cracks, scuffs, or holes.
The process: Technicians deep-clean components to remove surface oils. Afterward, they repair holes and deep scuffs using specialized leather filler. Finally, they professionally re-dye the leather along with targeted grain treatments to eliminate the gloss effect, renewing the material’s matte appearance, texture, and overall freshness.
2. Plastic parts repair
The issue: Normal operational use results in surface scuffs on composite or thermoplastic fairings. In addition, it can cause localized and small structural damage, such as broken or detached mounting areas where screw bushings are secured.
The process: Technicians mechanically remove surface scuffs and rebuild the damaged sections. This crucial step ensures the component fully complies with mechanical and airworthiness requirements before re-installation.
Operational benefits
Utilizing certified PART 145 shop processing instead of purchasing brand-new replacement parts allows airlines, leasing companies, and MROs to:- Optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), by significantly extending the operational lifespan of cabin assets;
- Minimize fleet downtime, avoiding third-party supply chain delays and shortening lead times;
- Maintain regulatory and aesthetic standards, ensuring all interior components meet strict regulatory compliance.
