London-based airline rating company Skytrax has awarded ANA for the tenth year in a row with five stars, the highest rating in the World Airline Star Rating.
Began in 1999, the World Airline Star Rating is the longest-running and unique prestigious seal of quality and a global benchmark for airline excellence, awarded following professional analysis and evaluation of airlines’ frontline product and service standards.
A typical standards assessment is based on the analysis of 500-800 ratings of products and services.
An absolute rating of 5 stars is awarded to carriers that consistently provide high-quality service. Worldwide, only 10 carriers have received this top rating.
Shinichi Inoue, President and CEO of All Nippon Airways, is pleased with this achievement as the company celebrates its 70th anniversary and intends to pursue its goals by focusing on comfort, convenience and service for all passengers. This achievement is certainly a testimony to the commitment, devotion and hospitality that characterises the company through the hard and daily work of its employees.
